I came very close to winning the Herald News Spelling Bee and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark Junior High Spelling Bee in 1992 and 1993, and my qualifications as an editor, writer, and communications consultant don’t end there!
I have taught English at the university level and tutored undergraduate and graduate students and faculty in writing since 2001, and I earned my Ph.D. in English in 2010. My own publications include more than a dozen articles in academic journals and, most recently, a book about the Irish-American experience in New Jersey and New York, published by Lexington Books.
